RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is looking for a Data Analyst IV for a contract to hire opportunity in the Leawood, KS area.Candidates must be local to the area and willing to work onsite as needed.Summary:The Data Analyst IV is a technical position that requires strong data architecture discipline as related to technical solution design and excellent communication skills.
This position is responsible for gathering data requirements, designing, executing, and updating data models, data analysis, and data quality that enable the strategic information objectives of the company.Responsibilities:
- Data Analyst IV will create new and editing existing logical and physical models for the database(s) for Company's online platform
- Creates & edits standard SQL to query, update, insert, and delete data; Creates & edits Data Objects (Stored Procedures, Views, etc.
) - Maintenance and development support of live applications
- Data analytics for client's online applications
- Data modeling, data mapping, and SQL
- As a Data Analyst IV, you will collaborate directly with API and integration developers
- Managing your tasks and status via a (virtual) Kanban board
- Collaborating with team members on architectural challenges and problems solving
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Networking related technologies or equivalent (necessary to develop self-direction, writing ability, critical thinking, and foundations of programming and software delivery fundamentals)
- Minimum 7 years of experience
- Professional experience of more than 1 year with multiple employers or with multiple roles
- Experience in data analysis and development
- Experience in working with a team of developers on the same domain through collaboration tools such as LeanKit, Slack, MS Teams, and GitHub
- Working experience of a standard data modeling toolset, working knowledge of Erwin a strong plus
- Data Analysis experience with data profiling and data validation
- Data Quality understanding of DQ concepts and familiarity with DQ tools and methods
- Proficient in data modeling for both transactional and dimensional databases
- Data mining skills (including data auditing, aggregation validation and reconciliation)
- Communicate with customers to obtain data requirements and perform data analysis on data provided
- Strong ability to work with SQL databases including working SQL knowledge of SQL Server DBMS a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
We may ultimately pay more or less than this range.
Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
This range may be modified in the future.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off.
Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
