What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Lab Operator position at Kforce Inc.?
- As a Day Lab Operator, you will be utilizing Automated Test Equipment for testing new chips and wafers
- Loading new chips and wafers and loading the appropriate test program in the automated test equipment
- Day-to-day test operations management; Keeping the testing equipment and tools running; Changing parts and testing programs as needed; Maintaining testing data log
- The Day Lab Operator will be taking special work requests from the engineers and incorporating any special instructions that may need to be executed on (e.g., loading another program, rather than the program they typically use)
- Good communication skills; Taking and following instructions
- Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned
- Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
- Basic technical troubleshooting skills to be able to troubleshoot load boards, like a blown part
- Debugging and soldering skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
