What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Analyst position at Kforce Inc.?
- Logistics Analyst will enhance product workflow by analyzing developing & coordinating logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory
- Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- As a Logistics Analyst, you will perform work order execution to plan and forecast resources for crop research pipelines
- Create and updating Standard Operating Procedures
- Associate degree and entry level experience in the field or in a related area
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, and demonstrate strong competency in using pivot tables, macros, and other data analysis tools to analyze large data sets is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience learning IT tools is also highly sought
- Previous experience research settings and project management is valuable
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Detail-oriented with the ability to recognize how today's work impacts downstream planning
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
