Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Reston, VA. Duties:
- Payroll Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate payroll records for multiple companies
- Conduct thorough reviews of payroll audit reports to ensure accuracy
- Manage employee deductions and other liabilities, including reconciliation
- Handle payroll tax filings and compliance
- Supervise day-to-day activities of assigned staff
- As a Payroll Specialist, you will drive process improvements and exceptional client service
- Oversee year-end W-2 reconciliation
- Collaborate with leadership on payroll strategy
- Establish and maintain payroll controls and procedures
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
