Kforce has a client that is seeking a Power BI Developer in Tampa, FL. Summary: A Power BI Developer is a professional who specializes in using Microsoft's Power BI toolset to extract meaningful insights from data. Their job includes tasks such as data modeling, report creation, dashboard development, and data transformation. They play a crucial role in bridging the gap between data sources and data-driven decision-making. Essential Functions:

- Provide business intelligence services, spearhead BI software development, and surface Power BI reports; They take raw data and create coherent and useful reports to collect meaningful business insights
- Interact with Microsoft's Power BI to generate, operate, and maintain BI applications that provide the company with actionable business insights
- Responsible for designing and developing data models that effectively support business requirements and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the data presented in dashboards and reports
- Typically requires a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Technology
- Experience in data preparation, data warehousing projects
- Familiarity with Microsoft BI stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS), as well as knowledge of SQL server
- Effective communication is key, as they must often convey complex data insights in a clear and understandable manner
