RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Janesville, WI that is seeking a Product Owner who is able to understand and execute on digital transformation strategies, by creating best in class technical solutions and leading within and across technical teams to implement those solutions.Responsibilities:- Develop detailed User Stories along with clear and concise Acceptance Criteria to enable developers to perform Agile development activities
- Facilitate the prioritization of User Stories to be defined and structured in the product backlog on behalf of the Product Manager and provide clarity to the developers of the initiative
- Support the definition of business context diagrams that underlie the overall the Business Architecture in support of Solution Design activities as required
- Define information flows from existing systems and identify improvements for new solutions working with business owners, stakeholders, project management, product management, information technology and partners
- Definition of User Story backlog, User Acceptance criteria, Jira tickets and working with QA processes
- Manage digital transformation projects that involve web and mobile application development leveraging Agile methodology working with multiple stakeholders
- Must desire to bring disclosure and transparency to the business and Program Management to grow business trust
- Must continually be growing ones craft learning new tools and techniques to manage oneself and a team
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar field
- 6 years of Product Owner experience working with brand new Dev Teams & Existing teams in an Agile Scrum environment
- 4 years of Product Ownership experience in the Retail space
- Experience managing multiple products simultaneously
- Experience in Agile ceremonies
- Expertise in leveraging JIRA for Team management & performance measurement
- Experience in understanding the project requirements including technical architecture
- Expertise in conflict resolution and impediments management
- Can convey the message to different stakeholders (communication)
- Retail experience
- Understanding of backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition
- Able to communicate well with diverse teams and executive level stakeholders from the business in both verbal and written communications
- Able to coordinate and lead product meetings, team discussion between business partners and IT
- Able to facilitate discussion and facilitate alternatives or different approaches
- Able to ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls
- Able to lead a self-organization team
- Able to quickly gain a high-level understanding of Scrum Teams project Vision/Scope
- Able to work closely with Scrum Master(s) in facilitating team and business discussions
- Mobile experience or Financial Product experience is highly preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
We may ultimately pay more or less than this range.
Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
This range may be modified in the future.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off.
Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
