Kforce has a client that is seeking a Tax Analyst Programmer II in San Diego, CA. The duration of this role is 6 months. Responsibilities: Developing requirements and implement the code for tax-compliant product releases, based on performing tasks of basic complexity, such as but not limited to:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Tax Analyst Programmer II in San Diego, CA. The duration of this role is 6 months. Responsibilities: Developing requirements and implement the code for tax-compliant product releases, based on performing tasks of basic complexity, such as but not limited to:
- Collaborating with the Tax Analysts to establish requirements for tax flow and calculation changes by analyzing tax law, form changes, and instructions
- Working closely with tax analysts to optimize products for our consumers
- Identifying dependencies on E2E (federal/state) tax situation
- Creating screens & help content to ensure tax requirements are accurately reflected
- Developing unit tests
- Programming in proprietary language is required
- Understanding of Code/coding
- Coder experience
- Tools used: Proprietary code, Technical acumen, Calculations in Excel
- Ability to learn to code in a proprietary language fairly quickly
- Ability to learn and use technology/tools is a must
- Ability to research and collaborate on technical tax law in multiple states and at the Federal level
