AML/KYC Risk and Compliance Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a skilled Risk and Compliance Analyst with expertise in KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations, entity setup, annual renewals, and entity servicing within the finance industry, particularly in private equities or mutual funds.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with KYC and AML regulations by conducting thorough due diligence on clients, identifying potential risks, and implementing appropriate measures to mitigate them
* Facilitate the setup of new entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements; Manage the annual renewal process for existing entities, including documentation review and submission
* Act as the primary point of contact for servicing current entities, addressing inquiries, resolving compliance issues, and updating documentation as needed
* Assess potential risks associated with clients, transactions, and entities, and develop strategies to manage and mitigate these risks effectively
* Stay updated on relevant regulatory developments and ensure that the organization remains compliant with applicable laws and regulations
* Prepare regular reports on compliance activities, including risk assessments, entity status updates, and regulatory compliance metrics

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
* 3-5 years of experience in risk and compliance roles within the finance industry, with a focus on private equities or mutual funds
* Strong understanding of KYC and AML regulations and procedures
* Experience in entity setup, annual renewals, and entity servicing
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, working at least 2 days a week onsite

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
