Java Security Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Java Security Developer in San Antonio, TX.

Key Tasks:
* Java Security Developer will analyze, design, develop, implement, and test designated high-volume, low-latency Java software for mission-critical systems requiring high-availability and performance
* Work collaboratively and provide technical assistance and detailed program information to product managers, analysts, and support specialists
* As a Java Security Developer, you will be accountable for anticipating needed modifications, researching, and analyzing application requirements, and resolving technical issues escalated by support specialists

REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields preferred
* Five years of experience with Java development teams required
* Five years of experience with SQL (in code and on database), complex SQL concepts, and related databases required
* Five years of experience with standard tools for debugging both code and database driven functionality required
* Experience with SQL Tuning, Code Execution, Performance Enhancements preferred
* Experience with IntelliJ or other IDE experience required
* Advanced knowledge of Spring Framework required
* Advanced knowledge of J-Unit/Unit testing best practices and testing methodologies required
* Demonstrated expertise with high performing teams and/or leading/coaching teams required
* Advanced knowledge of SCRUM/Kanban/Agile methodologies and frameworks required
* Advanced knowledge of HTML, web controls, Java Script, JSON, XML, AJAX required
* Demonstrated expertise with SQL: Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions required
* Demonstrated expertise with SQLAnywhere/Sybase/DB interactive tools or similar tools/databases (relational databases) required
* Demonstrated expertise with web services, such as REST or SOAP required
* Advanced knowledge of best practices/coding efficiencies and execution
* Proficient in Scope and project requirements, and vendor negotiations
* Experience with Testing Automation preferred
* Experience with Postman and other API testing methodologies preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
