RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client that is seeking a .NET Developer in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities: * .NET Developer will provide leadership to an Agile team, and interfaces daily with government customer * Builds and codes applications and/or modules using languages such as .NET, DOCX, C# * Provides patches and upgrades to existing systems * Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards * Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls; May build add-on modules using application program language * Designs and codes applications following specifications using the appropriate tools * Maintains and modifies existing software applications * Analyzes detailed systems factors, including input and output requirements, information flow, hardware and software requirements, and alternative methods of problem resolution * As a .NET Developer, you will perform modifications to and maintenance of operational programs and procedures * Participates in code reviews to represent reviewed work for adherence to standards and specifications * Writes or revises program documentation, operations documentation, and user guides in accordance with standards
REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree with 12 years (or commensurate experience) * 5 years of experience as Agile Team Lead * 10 years of .NET experience * 10 years of DOCX Conversion - even if 1 year 2 * 5 years of C# experience * 5 years of XML experience * 1 year of AWS experience * Candidates with XML4IP, OOXML, and AWS/Azure experience preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
