Performance Engineer (QA Leader)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Performance Engineer (QA Leader) in Atlanta, GA.

Summary:
The Performance Engineer (QA Leader) will design benchmarks, test methodology, and support performance work across the engineering team and industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for performance, capable of tackling performance analysis and code optimization challenges across multiple tiers.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bring over 10 years of experience in a performance engineering role, specializing in analyzing, troubleshooting, and automating performance workloads on large-scale systems
* Possess 2 years of experience as a developer, involved in building platforms, applications, or automation tools utilizing CI/CD pipelines
* Demonstrate coding experience in Golang, Java, C, or Python
* Have experience with event-based systems and microservice-based architectures
* Showcase experience in developing and utilizing web services (REST or SOAP)
* Possess experience with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
* Exhibit expertise in AWS Cloud services and cloud-based architectures

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
