Senior Front-End Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer in San Jose, CA.

Summary:
As a Senior Front-End Developer, you will work collaboratively with UX and design to implement best-in-class UI components. You will also work with backend developers to implement HTL component templates for use in Adobe Experience Manager. In addition, you will work in cross-functional teams to quickly deliver and iterate on various pilots and prototypes.

Responsibilities:
* Create reusable UI components using a combination of web component architecture, standard HTML/CSS/JS, and HTL templates for use in AEM
* As a Senior Front-End Developer, you will be an advocate for great UX, performance, and accessibility
* Iterate quickly based on stakeholder and customer feedback

REQUIREMENTS:
* Expertise creating and maintaining a design system architecture using Lerna, Storybook and other tools & techniques
* Understanding of modern CSS features and how to use them in responsive web design
* Experience with developing accessible code in compliance with WCAG 2.1 HTML, leveraging semantic HTML, ARIA roles, and other techniques
* Familiarity with testing best practices and tools such as unit tests & integration
* Understanding of modern JavaScript features, including familiarity with TypeScript
* Experience building modular, reusable, flexible, and accessible components
* Working knowledge of design tools: Figma, Sketch, Axure or similar
* Ability to translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
