Senior Scrum Master

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in McLean, VA that is seeking a Senior Scrum Master.

Responsibilities:
* The Senior Scrum Master will coach a development team on Scrum principles, help the team focus on sprint goals and to achieve their highest performance level, to ensure the Scrum project is successfully progressed
* Apply advanced consulting, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge
* Develop innovative solutions to complex problems
* The Senior Scrum Master will work without considerable direction and mentor or supervise team members, as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
* 8 years of experience managing projects, processes, and teams delivering web-based systems
* 8 years of experience as a Scrum Manager or Project Manager
* 3 years of experience with large scale programs of over $10M a year for government clients
* 3 years of experience leading a technical team of 20 staff
* 3 years of experience with Atlassian Jira
* 3 years of experience with Agile @ Scale (SAFe, DAD, etc)
* 3 years of experience with Cloud computing
* 3 years of experience with DoD security requirements
* 2 years of experience working in a Program Management Office (PMO)
* 2 years of experience managing a technical product portfolio
* Experience with supporting program activities using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
* Experience creating and delivering client briefings and status reports
* Proven ability to build relationships with managers, product managers, and product/system owners
* Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including coordination and presentations

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
