RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Tech Project Manager in Mooresville, NC.
Key Tasks:
* Delivers multiple Technology projects of various size and complexity from planning to minimum realization with full responsibility and accountability for the outcomes; Includes organizing and tracking project details and communicating consistently with project stakeholders
* Monitors the overall performance (timeline, budget, and resource utilization as per the business plan) of various size projects against plan and works through the project team to implement adjustments when issues are identified and require resolution
* Works closely with partners to coordinate and ensure the completion of requests for information (RFI) and vendor requests for proposal (RFP) processes, working with appropriate stakeholders to provide input
* Drives the work for assigned project teams by recommending or requesting resources to support project demands, communicates a clear vision of project goals and objectives, and provides technical knowledge and input for deliverables worked on by the team
* Controls and mitigates project risks by performing the qualitative and quantitative analysis of risks and trigger events, planning risk response, establishing contingency plans, anticipating dependencies affected by ongoing project changes, and recommending ways to mitigate future risks
* Responsible to ensure the alignment, buy-in, and support of diverse project stakeholders by building and maintaining relationships with internal customers, third party vendors, and senior management
* Decomposes work into project execution plans (i.e., work breakdown structures) and technical objectives (e.g., software and system development needs, IT architecture, testing requirements, security protocols, etc.), partnering with the business and/or Product teams to translate business plans into tactical action items
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
* 5 years of experience in IT or technology focused business area
* 3 years of experience managing IT specific projects/programs involving the implementation of SDLC project life cycle methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
* 3 years of experience developing IT project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)/User Stories used to create project schedules and estimates
* 1 year of experience managing operational or project/program financial budgets in the technology space
* Experience leading technology project teams with or without direct report responsibility
* Background in business analysis, software design, software development, data architecture, operating systems, software testing or related technical area
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
