RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer to work on a technology upgrade project in New York, NY. Primary responsibilities include activities related to technical design, coding and unit testing of enhancements and defect corrections for the current system. This position will require strong client-side programming skills in the area of building out applications front-end UI.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or in a Technical/Business discipline
* 10 years of experience working with UI development framework
* 10 years of experience with Junit, Jsunit or Selenium testing framework
* 7 years of experience working with at least one of the following application servers: JBoss, Tomcat, BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere
* Strong knowledge of J2EE, JavaScript, Java, Apache Struts
* Good knowledge in using SQL in Oracle
* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong knowledge of Java skills
* Design/Architect web based applications
* Propose/Provide solutions to complex requirements
* Strong knowledge of J2EE and EJBs
* Able to resolve complex performance issues for web based applications using state of the art technologies
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
