RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client located in Beaverton, OR that is seeking a Software Engineer.
Summary: This role will manage small to moderate-sized solutions and will play a key role on larger teams, working within the parameters of two to three sprints. The Software Engineer provides direction to team members and/or vendors. The candidate advises product owners on technology-related business problems; formulates options, including assessing their relative merits and risks; and works with product owners to determine the best solution.
REQUIREMENTS: * Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience; One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law 3 years; Masters 4 years; Associates degree 6 years; High School diploma/GED 7 years * 5 years of professional software development experience * Strong Computer Science fundamentals * Programming - Python, Golang * Infrastructure as Code/DevOps practices and technologies like Terraform * AWS Cloud services experience * Experience developing and using microservices
Ideal Candidate: * Knowledgeable on AIML/machine learning concepts (ML Serving/ML Training, GenAI, RAG, Vector Databases, A/B Testing, Model Experimentation) * Experience with Big Data technologies (e. g. Spark) * Experience with Databricks ecosystem
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
