RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Engineer in Boston, MA. The nature of the work is focused on the company's computer and telephony technology tools used to create, store, exchange, and use all forms of information.
Responsibilities: * Software Engineer will respond to problems and incidents, resolving or escalating as needed * Document resolution using standard templates defined in procedures * Responsible for overall customer satisfaction; Executes against instructions provided by lead or senior; Follows documentation, makes recommendations * Enhance the capability of the IT infrastructure and services to deliver cost effective and sustained level of application availability * Develop tools and process to support continuity management; Executes tests for system continuity; Develop, test, and implement monitoring tools and processes based on instructions * Develop appropriate messages and problem resolution process; Perform monitoring functions * As a Software Engineer, you will execute procedures as defined to support security management * Maintains user accounts and profiles * Prepares for and supports emergency events * Uses specialized SAP basis skills to create and maintain SAP environments, install SAP application components, monitor and trouble shoot SAP technical issues
REQUIREMENTS: * Typically requires a Bachelors degree and minimum 5 years of directly relevant work experience * Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law 3 years; Masters 4 years; Associate degree 6 years; High School diploma/GED 7 years * Python Proficiency
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
