RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Francisco, CA that is seeking a Technical Project Manager.
Summary:
We are introducing a new position to our team due to our expanding project portfolio. Traditionally, our team leads have managed projects, but as our workload grows, we require a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the coordination, planning, and communication of our projects. This role will provide crucial support to the ServiceNow team and will be responsible for managing 10 to 15 projects per quarter, collaborating closely with the ServiceNow Technical Lead for project assignments. Stakeholders encompass various business units such as Fleet Management, Legal, other technical teams, etc., all seeking to leverage ServiceNow capabilities for their operational needs. Additionally, this role may involve coordination with third-party supplier partners and collaboration with the Enterprise Technology Program Manager to obtain project plans.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with IT technical staff, product management, and business sponsors to ensure that project designs and solutions meet both business and technical requirements
* Manage client expectations, identify operational and tactical risks, and track them; Clarify, identify, and monitor requirements and issues, eliminate barriers, resolve minor project issues, and escalate significant problems to leadership when necessary
* Assume responsibility for overseeing and monitoring project performance across multiple projects with internal and external dependencies, diverse scopes, and various stakeholders; This includes providing guidance to the project team, which comprises business and IT members, and external entities
* Manage issues, risks, dependencies, and change requests following established PMO guidelines
REQUIREMENTS:
* ITIL certification is a plus
* 1-3 years of applied project management experience, including technology projects and/or leadership of technical teams
* Proficiency in the use and/or understanding of project tracking and management tools like ServiceNow and Jira
* Familiarity with project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and application
* Solid knowledge and experience in various Project Management and product development concepts, methodologies, and processes, encompassing Scrum, SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile
* Experience in creating and refining process and workflow management
* Strong capacity planning and project projection skills
* Effective written and verbal communication abilities
* Competency in developing project plans, managing individual deadlines and goals
* Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Prior experience in Project Management
* Proficiency in Agile work environments, utilizing tools like Jira and ServiceNow
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and individuals
* Preferred experience with Google Suite
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
