A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Cost Accountant in Billerica, Massachusetts (MA).Summary:This client is a technology life sciences company that is currently growing. They offer a competitive salary and benefits package including healthcare, performance bonus, 401k match, stock options, PTO, sick time, etc. They have a newly renovated office space with snacks and beverages for employees. This role will work in a hybrid schedule, 1 day a week in the office.Responsibilities include:* Assist in maintaining the cost system and standard costs* Review spend and evaluate performance* Cost Accountant will review product cost and identify improvement opportunities* Participate in the month-end close* Prepare journal entries* Prepare general ledger reconciliations* Cost Accountant will analyze and report variances* Perform special projects as assigned* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance* 2-5 years of related experience* Inventory experience* Experience with equity software is a plus (Solium, Share works, E-Trade, Transcentive, etc.)* Strong communication skills* Background in the life science industry is preferredThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
