Description
Kforce has a client in Brooklyn, NY that is seeking a Document Processor responsible for the review, approval and input of legal documentation to the document retention database.
This role resolves routine questions & problems that may arise while imaging documents into system. The Document Processor works under general supervision on work, projects and tasks with regular review of progress and results, and also maintains various pending reports.Typical Job Duties :
- Verify documents received from clients, enter them into tracking system
- Validate the integrity of documentation prior to entering them into the database
- Return discrepancies to submitters / requestors
- Scan and index all documents accurately meeting all SLAs
- Work closely with internal colleagues and other team members to maximize performance of tools and other client onboarding initiatives
- Perform additional research as requested
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- Paralegal certificate preferred
- 3-5 years of banking experience as a contract associate
- Knowledge of corporate documentation, terminology, and legal concepts and procedures
- Demonstrated self-motivation, initiative and strong customer focus
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and organization skills
- Detail-oriented and methodical
- Proven ability to independently identify, analyze and resolve issues
- Ability to report on volume and metrics for records indexed
- Ability to work well under pressure, exercise good judgment, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
This range may be modified in the future.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
