ManTech International seeks qualified candidates for a Grants Management Deputy Project Manager to support our Government client. The Grants Management Deputy Project Manager provides award monitoring oversight of Large Facilities Grants through risk assessment processes, property management monitoring, standard operating procedures and business system reviews. The selected candidate will help the Task Lead manage a team of professionals who are matrixed to multiple projects, perform quality control on customer deliverables, and support the development of large reports. Strong editorial skills are required.
Duties Include:
Assist in managing business system reviews and related work products and processes
Analyze and update standard operating procedures
Monthly reports on Team activities
Develop presentations
Edit technical documents
Coordinate the analytic work of multiple subject matter experts, quality check and edit lengthy business system review reports
Perform ad hoc analyses, evaluations or other technical and administrative activities and provide written responses, correspondence and reports
Ability to work as needed, either collaboratively or independently, in a team leadership framework and under pressure
Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and responsibilities with changing priorities and to meet established goals and objectives
Perform other related duties. e.g., develop reporting tools, collect data, research and analyze data, document the impact of policy reviews and recommendations, ad hoc analyses (e.g. monitor government client email alias’s), and other technical support duties, as requested
Proven analytical skills with ability to proactively research and resolve questions, discrepancies, and inconsistencies
Ability to analyze awardee material, apply standards, articulate observations and write recommendations
Less than 10% travel
Minimum Qualifications:
BS or BA Degree or equivalent
7+ years of total related experience; at least 5+ years of experience in Grants Management
Knowledge of internal controls, accounting, procurement, auditing, human resources and property management
Skills in business analysis and business processes
Strong written oral communications skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills
Proficiency in Office 356
Desired background
Certification in Government Financial Manager (CGFM), Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS)
