What are the responsibilities and job description for the Door Assembler position at KI Lumber?

KI Lumber, a Division of US LBM is seeking Door Assemblers for our location in Louisville, KY.
How You Will Spend Your Days as a Door Shop Assembler:
- Experience in wood working or machine operation is highly preferred, but not required.
- Physical. Ability to stand for 8 hours per work shift. Ability to bend, twist, squat and reach.
- Heavy Lifting. Ability to lift up to 75lbs throughout the work shift.
- Utilizing Power saws, air nail guns, staplers and other tools needed to prepare wood material used to assemble doors.
- Pick and pull production material as needed.
- Load, unload, store, and package material.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Capable of reading a tape measure and doing simple measurements.
- Strong communication, work attitude and work ethic (attendance)
