Responsibilities & Skills:
Rakes sand traps, and walk greens and tees.
Policing grounds for trash, litter, and debris
Pruning
Edging irrigation heads, valve boxes
Uses Flymo and Weed Eater to trim course
Sets up golf course - changes cup locations and tee markers daily.
Top dresses greens and tees.
Place sod as needed.
Assist golf superintendents in monitoring conditions of golf course.
Able to learn all aspects of course maintenance
Upholds the core values and policies & procedures of the resort.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Age – 16 years old
Minimum Experience – No experience required
Must work both independently and in a team environment.
Good to Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Essential Physical Requirements:
Capable of working consecutive hours without sitting down.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds across medium-long distance.
Must be able to lift, bend, stoop and reach.
Capable of working outdoors year round in all weather conditions throughout entire shift.
Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements.
