What are the responsibilities and job description for the Python Developer position at Kibo Commerce?

Our software and services include eCommerce, Order Management, Personalization, and Mobile Point-of-Commerce. We serve retailers, manufacturers, and brands, and our solutions are designed to power the shopping experience – from first click to doorstep – and to scale with them as their business grows.
Kibo is looking to add an engineer to our team to work closely with our Personalization product. Our Personalization team provides solutions to difficult challenges involving Machine Learning, statistics, data visualization, real-time decisioning, and user interface on a global scale.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Work with talented engineers to help to build a highly scalable product
- Write simple, well-structured, well-tested code that provides new features and improvements to existing services using Python, Javascript, and React
- Ship code to our production environment on a regular basis
- Work in an Agile environment including: daily scrums, collaboration, sprint reviews, and code demonstrations
- Collaborate throughout the software development life cycle with product management, UX, support, professional services, and other engineering teams
- Participate in code reviews
