It’s with that in mind that Kicksite is looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our Product Ownership unit on the Corporate Development team. This individual will be responsible for creating innovative, elegant and engaging digital experiences to positively impact our customers' businesses in the martial arts and fitness industries.
As our UI/UX Designer, you'll be responsible for:
- Collaborating on redesign of entire page layouts to creating entirely new features with an emphasis on the mobile site experience.
- Presenting concepts by designing user flows, wireframes, high fidelity mockups, and prototypes at a high level to build out refined details.
- Supporting the development and implementation of UI design standards by advocating for it when working alongside other teams.
- Participating in user research activities such as user interviews, surveys, and usability studies.
- Relying on user-centered design methods to create industry-leading user experiences across desktop and mobile devices.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to inform and evolve product designs and roadmap.

Okay, we’ve laid out what the job is - now are you qualified? Below are the minimum qualifications we’re looking for in a UI/UX Designer candidate. Also, we want a chance to get to know who you are and why you applied, so please include a cover letter.
- Associate or Bachelor level degree in a related field, MBA or equivalent preferred
- 2 years of equivalent practical experience in design or related field within the digital space
- Experience in agile delivery frameworks, collaborating with designers, engineers, product managers/owners, quality analysts and others throughout the design process creating user flows, wireframes, user interface mockups, and prototypes
- Experience working with web-based technologies such as javascript
- Experience with industry standard design tools like InVision, Sketch, Figma, etc.
- Experience with Atlassian tools (i.e. JIRA, Confluence) is a plus
- Experience with copywriting/content strategy is beneficial
- Portfolio highlighting multiple projects and your direct contributions
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaborative skills
