Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced bus driver who has their CDL and can transport children safely throughout our school year aftercare programs. The bus driver must be able to understand highway traffic signs and signals with knowledge of traffic safety rules, regulations, and the precautions necessary to avoid accidents. The driver must have the ability to interact positively with, gain the respect of, and maintain discipline over child passengers to ensure that behavior is controlled and not distracting to safe driving. The driver must be able to transport children in a safe, proper, and courteous manner while working harmoniously with children and staff.
Qualifications and Skills
- Class B CDL, Commercial Driver's License
- Must have clean driving record
- Must pass drug test screening
- Must provide current MVR
- Must provide a medical certificate
- Proficient using GPS and other routing systems
- Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles
- Alert, focused, and detail-oriented
