Spirited Spanish Immersion Toddler Teachers!
EEC Certified Toddler and Preschool Teachers (English/Spanish Required)

Duties and Responsibilities for our Teachers
Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate emergent curriculum
for young children
- Develop activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social
needs of the children in the program
- Develop culturally appropriate program and activities
- Implement positive discipline techniques in the classroom
- Clearly and effectively communicate with children, parents and staff
- Observe children and make note of progress in child-specific portfolios
- Discuss children’s development with parents in bi-annual parent/teacher
conferences
- Complete 20 hours of professional development each year
- Keep parents informed of program expectations, program activities and
their child’s progress
- Ensure the facility and equipment are clean, well maintained and safe at all
times
Requirements
Bilingual/bi-literate in both English and Spanish
-EEC Teacher or Lead Teacher Certified - or in process.
