Kids Hope USA pairs community-focused churches with their neighborhood schools to send volunteer mentors into the schools to meet with students in a one-on-one mentoring relationship. Kids Hope USA reaches students selected by their teachers, school counselors, and principals as children who could significantly benefit from an additional adult in their life. Today, Kids Hope USA has nearly 600 church partners who lead more than 700 mentoring programs in 35 states. We are excited about a new team member who will be passionate about connecting and serving churches and schools in communities across the country. This role will propel growth forward by supporting our Partnership Growth Team through new relationship cultivation and coordination, research and analysis, and a “how can I help?” attitude!

POSITION DESCRIPTION

• Number of hours: full time or reduced full time (32-40 hours per week)
• Hourly Range: $20-$24 per hour
• Position is located in West Michigan

The Partnership Growth Coordinator’s primary role is to support the members of the Partnership Growth Team by cultivating early relationships with prospective church and school partners and providing a continuous prospect pipeline of qualified opportunities. The Partnership Growth Coordinator serves as a key member of our energetic and high-functioning sales team that forms new Kids Hope USA partnerships nationwide. This role will accelerate the growth process using research and analysis and forming early relationships with prospects to provide a steady stream of qualified leads in strategic areas across the country.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cultivates early relationships with prospective church and school partners, including both inbound and outbound opportunities through phone, email, and in-person communication
• Makes initial contact with prospect churches to share the Kids Hope USA mission and qualify them as possible partners for further conversation
• Manages lead generation research process, identifying prospect churches and school partners and maintains an accurate database, analyzes reports and makes recommendations
• Supports lead generation opportunities including online Learning Sessions, conferences, marketing opportunities, and community events to spark interest among key stakeholders
• Works alongside partnership growth team members to ensure new partners have outstanding support and a seamless handoff as they begin their mentoring program
• Provides administrative support for team Kids Hope USA
• Ensures team is utilizing database and offers support and training as needed

• At least one year of previous customer service or sales experience, or appropriate business experience.

• Success in embracing and engaging relevant technology and actively involved in continuous improvement/enhancement of computer and technology skills.
• Proven ability to communicate professionally with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Skilled at the use of Microsoft Office Applications – PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook and virtual meeting tools – Zoom, Microsoft Teams.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
