What are the responsibilities and job description for the Soccer Coach position at Kids United Frisco | Plano?
KidsUnited is a soccer center for early development. Our unique training method is intended to develop physical, personal, intellectual abilities and social skills of children from 1.5 to 8 years old. KidsUnited not only teaches children how to play soccer, it acts as an early development system using soccer as the main educational and delivery tool. Ideal candidates will be responsible for leading classes and ensuring that health and safety precautions are observed during all activities. Ideal candidates will also be able to communicate with parents on the progress of their child and keep the parents engaged in the program.
Responsibilities include:
- Training children ages 1.5-8yrs old, max 12 children per class
- Capable of following and understanding KidsUnited training sessions
- Consistently giving parent feedback about their child's progress as well as keeping accurate records of feedback
- Communicating with parents about the purpose of each session and core focuses
- Ensure health and safety precautions are observed during all activities
- Maintaining equipment and keeping the facility clean
Experience:
6 months or more as an assistant youth coach or 1 year working with children
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
