Daycare Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children.

Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
- Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Engage children in educational activities that encourage curiosity and exploration.
- Manage behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques to guide children’s actions.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all children.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare, such as nannying, caregiving, babysitting, or working in a daycare setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is preferred.
- Experience with behavior management techniques to support children's emotional and social development.
- Ability to educate children through play-based learning approaches.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing demeanor with the ability to provide comfort and support to children as needed.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus but not required.

Pay: From $12.30 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends
