Job Description
- Review shop Travelers for accuracy and completeness
- Experience in working with aerospace specifications and drawings
- Conduct In-Process, and Final inspections
- Conduct First Article Inspections using AS9102 Forms and documentation
- Conduct Receiving inspection / verification of product and relating certifications
- Review certification documents and records required to create a Certificate of Conformance
- Create end item data packets such as Certificates of Conformance, Indented Parts List and Configuration summary for internal and external inspections
- Highly skilled in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance
- Complete customer Source Inspections for detail parts and assemblies
- Interface with program engineering and customers on Material Review Board issues
- Verify and control non-conforming product and the Material Review Board (MRB) process
- Use CMM, Faro Arms and other inspection tools and methods to inspect tooling, first article and production parts
- Provide Quality / Inspection verification support to Manufacturing and Engineering personnel
- Verify and control tool calibration cycles and the supporting documentation
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education / Training (both required and desired) :
- High School diploma required
- Associate’s Degree in management or technical / scientific discipline desired
Experience :
- 3 years of professional experience in the required task area required
- Composite material experience is highly desirable
- Experience using Number / Bubble Drawings to create Inspection Reports
Security :
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
