Your Role at KIK

Join our team as a Filling Operator! Operate various high-speed liquid filling machinery, including fillers, labelers, cappers, palletizers, de-palletizers, case erectors, and heat induction sealers. Review production orders, maintain accurate records, and ensure top-notch quality standards. Troubleshoot and perform minor equipment adjustments and changeovers as needed. Prioritize safety by following guidelines, wearing PPE, and complying with manufacturing practices and standards. Contribute to a high-performing and efficient production environment as a key player in our team! Apply now for the Filling Operator role. This position has an hourly rate of $20.00, in addition to an annual incentive bonus.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate various high-speed liquid filling machinery (e.g., fillers, labelers, cappers, palletizers, de-palletizer case erectors, heat induction sealers, etc.)
  
   
• Review production orders for quantities, job specifications, and special instructions
  
   
• Maintain accurate time and production records
  
   
• Uphold quality standards throughout the manufacturing process
  
   
• Perform basic troubleshooting, minor equipment adjustments, and changeovers as needed
  
   
• Adhere to Safety/GMP guidelines and comply with PPE requirements
  
   
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Plant Policies, and Safety Standards

What You’ll Bring

• 0-1 years' experience as a Machine Operator in the packaging industry
  
   
• Preferred production knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for effective manufacturing
  
   
• Proficient verbal communication, reading, and writing skills in English
  
   
• Basic mathematical skills required
  
   
• Ability to take direction and work unsupervised
  
   
• Physical demands include prolonged standing, lifting up to 45 lbs., and repetitive motion involving fingers, hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders
  
   
• Work conditions involve both non-temperature and temperature-controlled environments, the possibility of high noise levels, wearing a full-face respirator as needed, and adherence to Health and Safety and GMP regulations, with a willingness to work overtime when necessary
