Adjunct Instructor – Education (EDUC)

Position Details:

This position is part of the teaching faculty within the Workforce Education department and reports to the Dean.

Responsibilities:

This adjunct faculty position is responsible for the education of students in the EDUC 1300/Learning Framework course. Responsibilities will include teaching one or more face-to-face courses during daytime hours as well as teach on a high school campus in a dual credit class. Use of instructional technology in the classroom is a required component of the course. Adjunct faculty members teach and supervise all learning experiences and evaluate student performance in the classroom.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have a Master’s degree in education or similar field and two years of successful teaching experience in public schools or college. Preference is given to candidates with college teaching experience.

Salary Range & Fringe Benefits:

• Salary for adjunct faculty members is based upon level of education and range from $1,800 per 3-hour course for a master's degree to $2,000 per 3-hour course for a doctorate.
