Kiliuda Consulting, a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Law Enforcement Trainer to support the DEA.
Qualified candidates will be expected to:
Provide Law Enforcement instruction/training classes such as DICE/DARTS and other intelligence courses in addition to courses related, but not limited to the following topics:
- Information Analysis
- Utilization of DEA computer systems to run queries
Position Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen
- Active Secret Clearance
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass Agency background check
- Demonstrated proficiency with desktop applications such as MS Office to include but not limited to: WORD, Outlook, Access, Excel, Oracle, Windows XP, advanced keyboard skills to accurately enter, query, retrieve, and report data in various MS-DOS Local Area Network and Wide Area Networks. Experience with Boolean Logic desirable.
- Experience as a law enforcement instructor preferred. Possess significant training and experience in the law enforcement area.
- Must have solid diplomatic skills, knowledge of military and inter-agency operations, and experience working with issues concerning international counter narcotics programs.
Qualified candidates will be expected to:
- Communicate with government agency managers and SMEs, research issues, document information, analyze content and draw conclusions or propose scenarios for discussion among management that can result in policy formation, etc.
- Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Must be able to travel as required
- Ability to create, update, and maintain training materials
- Ability and willingness to learn a new system to teach its usage
- Prior police/LE experience is preferred
- Prior experience with utilization of local or regional deconfliction systems (DICE or DARTS a huge plus) is preferred
- Prior experience in the use of automated databases including the use of routine and ad hoc queries to obtain information is preferred
- High level of proficiency with MS Office Suite to include Excel and Power Point
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and draw conclusions
- Ability to interface professionally with all levels of management and support personnel
- Polished presentation skills to initiate effective communication relative to policy, procedures, operations, events, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and deadlines
- A background in training is preferred
