Looking for a self-motivated Head Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play an important role in our company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting and compliance with the law. Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports for the company headquarters. Coordinate and implement dunning and collection activities to ensure prompt reconciliation of past due accounts. Accomplishes tasks with particular emphasis on customer service. Monitors financial position, financial performance and cash flows of the company. Prepares reports tracking the company's assets and liabilities and communicates to management the potential effects on the company’s future equity.
Duties:
- Is in charge of all accounting activities of both financial and management accounting
- Prepare financial and performance reports, assist departments with annual budgets and reviews
- Perform internal audits on A/P, A/R, expenses and other company finances
- Reviews, investigates, and makes corrections to financial entries, documents, and reports.
- Opens customer accounts by using SAP and requests information and required documentation for the customer’s Master File
- Assures compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations and laws. Approve all customer invoices prior to release
- Issue invoices and credit to customers and other data entry duties
- Makes weekly check runs
- Responsible for all payroll accounting, sign in process of new employees
- Applies cost accounting methods to achieve accurate representation of cost center performance
- Support the Company’s mission, vision, values and goals in the performance of daily activities
- Preparation of the monthly statutory accounts and consolidated financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS
- Develop and implement various accounting procedures
- Report, analyze, and ensure integrity of all financial information
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar field required, Master’s Degree preferred
- Proficiency in SAP preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
- Excellent mathematical skills

- Solid experience in similar role
