Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare as-designed bills of materials based on engineering designs
- Input bills of materials in SAP.
- Use engineering change workflows.
- Assist in investigating change requests and upon approval updating the engineering documents
- Investigate utilizing existing parts, tooling and/or manufacturing platforms
- Update engineering data in our production and inventory control system.
- Update engineering data in our product data management system.
- Follow engineering standards to enable common ownership of engineering documents.
- Complete engineering change request investigations and add them to the product data management system.
- Participate in value engineering events with cross functional teams.
- Use engineering judgment to ensure new products are safe to use and safe to manufacture.
