Kimberton Whole Foods is looking for a Perishable Team Member to join our Phoenixville location!
Schedule : Full-time, 40 hours per week. Tuesday through Saturday work week
Availability : Availability to work a combination of opening and closing shifts between 7 : 00am-8 : 30pm. Saturday 12-8 : 30pm is required.
Age Requirement : Must be 18 years or older
Hourly Pay : $16-$18 / hr

Job Summary
The Perishable Stocker provides a delightful customer experience while maintaining a welcoming, well merchandised department.
This person supports the Perishable Department and embodies the spirit of a team player. The Perishable Stocker interacts with customers, vendors, and fellow KWF Team Members in a positive and authentic manner and follows the direction of the Perishable Department Head and store management.
DAILY OPERATIONS : The Perishable Stocker's primary responsibilities to execute the following.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all.
- Receiving and stocking all incoming refrigerated and frozen items including fresh meat and fish, local eggs and dairy, bakery, and specialty products.
- Stocks and handles product following guidelines for time and temperature demands.
- Rotating back stock on a first-in first-out basis.
- Working in collaboration with the Perishable Department Head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department.
- Follows the established KWF SOP for maintaining abundant, dynamic, and fresh displays throughout the entire department.
- Understands KWF inventory management practices.
- Assist in other areas of the store as needed.
Requirements
Physical Capabilities :
- Full sense range (vision, hearing, and sense of smell) the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.
- Stooping, squatting, & kneeling stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
- Walking short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
- Standing- prolonged standing.
- Work environment movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).
- Climate ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
