Overview:
In this important role, you will perform a variety of professional, technical, and analytical duties in the areas of programming on our EPiServer (Optimizely) & Microsoft Dynamics 365 Ecommerce website. Will address the entire development lifecycle - from analyzing site needs, design with a focus on UI/UX mobile first best practices, test and develop solutions that meet those needs.
Main Functions:
- Write custom Javascript / jQuery, Angular, Knockout, HTML, CSS for web & associated properties
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe XD for UI Prototyping
- Write readable, maintainable, and efficient mobile first focused code
- Technical ecommerce integrations with the marketing and content teams
- Support various systems that make up our technical architecture, user experience and interface
- Review content optimization, formatting and performance ensuring consistency in message, theme, and style.
- Perform routine content and page maintenance for website including, but not limited to content formatting, creation, updates, and removal as well as document and asset management.
- Provide technical expertise, advice, and assistance to other departments regarding new and ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Work with cross functional teams to deliver UX/UI technologies that align with company goals, site & SEO optimization
- Analyze site performance and customer journey data and makes performance enhancements accordingly
- Detailed design, development and unit / integration testing utilizing the appropriate methodologies, technology and tools
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions
- Develop detailed Statements of Work for insourced as well as outsourced development projects
- Assist stakeholders in creating Standard Operating Procedures for custom developed technical solutions
- Investigating and using new technologies where relevant
- Lead and mentor junior developers to improve their development skills
Qualifications
- HTML/XHTML, CSS and Javascript knowledge is required
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills with an ability to visualize processes and outcomes
- Troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase
- Experience developing on Episerver Commerce websites with multiple integrations preferred
- Advanced knowledge of C# is required
- Microsoft ASP.Net MVC preferred
- Angular or similar framework knowledge is a plus
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce knowledge is a plus
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and demonstrate a proven ability to independently manage tasks and priorities
