Overview
Our Chicagoland offices are looking for a CADD Technician/Designer with 3 or more years of experience to join our Utility/Natural Gas Design team.
Responsibilities
The candidate will develop full design drawing packages from preliminary engineering concepts through final detailed design including revisions for projects. Candidate will be required to generate drawings through tracing aerials, converting third party designs, and utilizing survey. Candidate will need to be able to create profiles and alignments referencing utility plans, grading design and cross sections.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 or more years relevant design experience with a civil engineering consulting firm
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation
- Familiarity with Outlook, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Teams
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
- Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn
- Ability to work independently and with a team
