Overview
Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is looking for an Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer to join our Energy team in our Waltham, MA office. Our Energy team works on projects in the areas of water/wastewater, natural gas, power (solar, wind, transmission), etc.
Responsibilities
As a critical member of the Energy team, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks, supervise team members, manage projects, and collaborate with team members. You will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship, camaraderie, and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering Field
- Minimum 3 years of applicable work experience strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
- Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Excel, and/or GIS
