Overview
Kimley-Horn's Austin North, Texas (TX) office is seeking a Utility Coordinator with a minimum of 1 year of professional work experience. This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
Candidates must have a willingness to perform a variety of tasks supporting various project managers as required. Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
Partnering with TxDOT and Municipal clients on utility coordination
Working on large scale projects that require internal and external client facing communication
Meeting coordination and ability to stay organized
As a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions
Qualifications
1 years experience within Civil Engineering or Construction Management
Bachelors Degree from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering or Construction Management
"Engineer-In-Training" or "Engineering Intern" certification preferred
Working knowledge of MicroStation/InRoads/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
Ability to work independently and as a team
