Social Media Coordinator

Job Summary

Our company is in need of a Social Media Coordinator to manage our online presence. In this role, you will oversee our social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter with the possibility of expanding into TikTok. You will also conduct market research and develop multi-platform social media marketing campaigns. A knowledge of social media restrictions and guidelines in the cannabis space is helpful. Our ideal applicant has a bachelor's degree in digital marketing and experience with content creation, whether that be in blogging, graphic design, or videography. You should also be skilled with Canva, Adobe Photoshop and other design programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Write and design posts for our social media accounts
• Help develop and maintain social media guidelines for our brand
• Maintain a posting calendar
• Cultivate engagement with our followers and social media users
• Grow our online brand through a multi-platform campaign
• Assess our progress with tools like Google Analytics
• Staying up to date on the latest social media platforms and trends
• Sharing social media data with senior management
• Building a social community to elevates the brand

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in digital marketing or equal proven experience
• Experience with content creation and search engine optimization
• Familiarity with social media best practices
• Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills
• Creativity and technical aptitude

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

Cannabis Consultant

• Working the retail sales counter helping customers.
• This is an education-first, sales-second role, so you must feel comfortable talking about cannabis and customer's medical conditions.
• Greet, educate, and help customers feel at ease upon arrival
• Provide information about cannabis and our products
• Develop and maintain knowledge of evolving products, as well as the cannabis industry
• Address customer questions/concerns and provide solutions
• Clean, count inventory, daily close out and other tasks

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
