What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Administrator position at Kinder Morgan?
Note: Monthly and annual accounting cycles may have an impact on vacation schedule.
Duties include:
- Regulatory report submission with accuracy.
- Timesheet review
- Invoice preparation and entry into accounting system.
- General Services Agreement and Work Directive preparation.
- Inventory management including issuing, transferring and auditing stock.
- Ordering, receiving, tracking and returning material.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of O&M and Capital Budget.
- Updating and revising various company manuals, plans and procedures.
- Miscellaneous data entry, filing, office equipment operation and receptionist duties.
- Monthly reporting including accruals, gas loss entry, tank volumes and p-card reallocations.
- Job level will commensurate with experience.
Position Requirements
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills (proficiency with MS Office, databases, Windows, Internet).
- Good conceptual skills to quickly learn other company software.
- Ability to effectively organize, plan, prioritize and complete work with minimum supervision.
- Must be willing to work in a team environment, take direction from and provide support for multiple supervisors.
- Keep required work schedules, focus attention on details and follow work rules.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
Preferred skills:
- Knowledge of and experience in Lawson, Datamart and PAWS is a plus.
