BUSINESS UNIT : TERMINALS
Kinder Morgan is the largest independent terminal operator in North America, providing a strong, reliable network of 144 terminals serving our customers’ storage, distribution, blending and logistical needs.
Our terminals store and handle renewable fuels, petroleum products, chemicals, vegetable oils and other products. We have a combined liquids storage capacity of approximately 151 million barrels and handle about 59 million tons of dry bulk materials annually.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Load and unload tank trucks, ships and barges
- Record product temperature and levels in storage tanks
- Climb tank stairs, operate valves and pumps, gauge tanks
- Assist Operations with product transfer alignments including piping, pumps and associated valves
- Perform or assist in the performance of preventive and regular maintenance duties
- Become a member of the Emergency Response Team
- Perform all work in strict accordance with Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Perform all work in strict accordance with operating policies, procedures and checklists
- Maintain training in Safety and Hazmat requirements at the facility
