Early Childhood Teacher - Part Time Mornings

West River KinderCare is looking for compassionate teachers to care for children. We are looking for a building opener in our School Age classroom (ages 5-12). The shift would be 6am - 9am mainly in our School Age classroom though some time might be spent in our Preschool or PreK room as needed. A teacher in this role would be responsible for welcoming parents and children in during morning drop off, maintaining accurate attendance sheets, and providing safe supervision. This position has the potential to become a full-time position in the future. If you are looking for more hours or a full-time position, we share staff with our other locations and would be able to find an arrangement that fits your needs.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:

• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
• All center staff applicants must meet state specific guidelines for the role
