We are experiencing significant growth and are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Lexington, Kentucky.

JOB SUMMARY:
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the supply chain process, from sourcing and procurement to production and distribution. Your main goal will be to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations within the supply chain while maintaining the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction. This is a management role, requiring strong leadership skills, communication skills, and the ability to make strategic decisions to improve supply chain processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies and processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
• Oversee all aspects of procurement, including sourcing, negotiating prices and contracts, and selecting suppliers
• Manage inventory levels to ensure timely production and delivery of products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, production, and distribution, to ensure supply chain operations meet business needs
• Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to increase effectiveness
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality products
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to supply chain operations
• Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Science, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of purchasing and/or planning experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, or any combination of Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and/or Distribution logistics in the chemical or food industry.  
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking skills.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Ability to foster good teamwork and collaboration, as well as maintain personal accountability and responsibility.
