Kindred Fare - A Spirited Cookery is a full-service restaurant located in the heart of the Finger Lakes with a focus on scratch cookery using seasonal & local ingredients. We have been featured in Forbes, Wine Spectator, Eater, and have won "Best Farm to Table Restaurant" four years in a row by The Finger Lakes Times Readers' Choice Awards. We are extremely popular with locals & travelers to our region with positive online reviews and guest feedback. We have a strong beverage focus with cool climate wine & spirits & are highly engaged in the local industry. On Monday nights our culinary team works together to build a three-course themed prix fixe, something our community looks forward to each week. Busser:
We are currently looking for bussers to join our team for busy nights at our lively & social restaurant. Entry level positions available.
What we expect from you:
- Are you new to this? That doesn’t rule you out as this is a great entry level position. Let us know so we can give you the training you’ll need to get up to speed!
- previous restaurant experience preferred - high volume setting preferred
- to complete side work & cleaning duties to standard
- to work thoroughly & quickly - have a sense of urgency when accomplishing tasks
- to use service trays to bus tables thoroughly & efficiently
- to thoroughly clean dining room tables, chairs & floor during service - we need everything to be guest-ready!
- to manage the cleaning, polishing & stocking of all glass & silverware during service
- to work well in a fast paced environment - we need someone who can keep up!
- to maintain a clean and organized station, dining room & all help maintain all FOH stations
- effective communication & team work - you need to be able to work with all service staff
- be a professional: remain composed - you are “on stage” at all times that you are in the dining room
- part-time availability & willingness to be flexible with our team as needed

Salary : $15 - $25
