Description
Job Summary
Responsible for data analysis of payer behavior in relation to denials/rejections. Provide this analysis to the leadership team. Assist with project management, implementation of systems, and provide training to new CBO personnel.
Essential Functions
Assists with research and reviews of the projects’ scope in order to understand why the project has been initiated.
Demonstrates a basic level of working knowledge of managed care contract language and terms.
Documents and updates business and functional requirements regarding specific projects.
Completes appropriate QA testing as defined by quality and productivity. Parameter approved by senior leadership.
Supports communication activities with end-user training for system implementation.
Continuously enhances knowledge of the business in order to ensure that the work effort and schedules of the department contribute to the key initiatives and success factors of revenue cycle and Scion Health.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations
Current, basic knowledge and experience with computer systems, applications, development and testing methodologies as they relate to the business areas being supported.
Preferred knowledge in revenue cycle applications and implementations.
Approximate percent of time required to travel: 0
Must read, write and speak fluent English.
Must have good and regular attendance.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Associate’s Degree in related field preferred
Experience
Minimum 5 years in healthcare business office field
