Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate pediatric physical therapy assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for treating children with a variety of developmental delays, injuries, and conditions. You will work closely with parents, caregivers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals and provide ongoing support to help children reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
Work with parents, caregivers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to implement treatment plans that are tailored to each child's unique goals
Use a variety of physical therapy techniques to improve children's motor function, strength, coordination, and flexibility
Provide ongoing support and guidance to children and their families
Document patient progress in electronic medical records
Participate in team meetings and collaborate with speech and occupational therapists on our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
Qualifications:
Current state PTA license
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children and their families
Knowledge of current physical therapy techniques and best practices for working with pediatric patients
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
