Delivery Associate

Delivery Associates perform driving and service responsibilities for KindRun, a Delivery Operator Marijuana Establishment with Warehouse and fleet headquartered in Hudson, MA. All drivers must be comfortable on the road and responsibly handling a company vehicle. Because of the regulated nature of our products, drivers must have an eye for detail and follow delivery procedures thoroughly to ensure compliance and client satisfaction. Due to the start-up nature of the business, Delivery Associates are encourage to cross-train for other positions, including but not limited to Dispatch Associate and Fulfillment Associate.

• Schedule: Five (5) shifts per week, typically 8.5 hours per shift; includes nights and weekends
• Department: Transport
• Reports to: Operations Manager / Operating Partner

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide best patient/customer experience to all delivery clients
• Must be on time and prepared for all scheduled shifts
• Build rapport with customers to ensure they continue to order from KindRun
• Answer phones appropriately and maintaining proper phone etiquette
• Diligent ID checking at the delivery site
• Use of technology for e-commerce, logistics and communication
• Ability to follow detailed operating procedures to ensure compliance and customer order accuracy
• Educate patients/customers on KindRun's mission and products
• Complete daily checklists and directly maintain appearance of delivery vehicles, daily opening and closing duties
• Possess general working knowledge of products
• Responsible for all inventory during and after deliveries
• Guide clients to appropriate resources including education, menu and Customer Service department
• KindRun brand ambassadorship, e.g., brand activation and client adoption events and activities, social media content creation
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older and pass any and all required pre-employment screenings
• Must have a clean driving record: no speeding tickets within the last 2 years, no more than 2 moving violations and one at-fault accident within the last 3 years, and no major traffic citations or incidents in the past 5 years
• Eligible for MA Marijuana Establishment Agent registration including ability to pass CORI and National background checks

Qualifications

• Positive, friendly attitude
• Ability to work from and operate a vehicle for 8-hour shift
• Tech-savvy: ability to operate iOS (iPad and iPhone); body camera; GPS; communication and vehicle equipment
• Must be to speak with strangers and project a pleasant, trustworthy personality for clients
• Attention to detail
• Ability to learn and communicate to clients state and local laws/regulations for cannabis home delivery

Desired Skills

• Previous delivery experience is a plus
